On Tuesday in week four we had a year six conference. In the conference we got put into groups for the day and each group got given A different colour top. My group were dark Blue. We had a lot of different activities that we had to do as a group, all of the activities were lots of fun. My favourite activity was the planking challenge. We had to have more than 50% of us planking at one time, we did all right but we did not win. After the planking challenge we all got to have icy poles. I learnt about myself that I am really good when I’m working with groups and saying my ideas. The day was really fun and I now we all had a great time.

Polar bear environment

Polar bears live in the snow and icy places. They don’t go wear the snow is to big because their legs will get stuck in the snow. They live in really cold places. With very cold water.

Polar bears diet

Polar bears have a weird diet they can’t drink water. Mother polar bear Hunt for fish for the family. Polar bear eat egg, birds, berries.

Polar bear structural adaptation

Polar bears have Weber feet it helps them swim in the water. They are really good swim because of this. Polar bears have a layer of fat that make them keep warm in the winter and for the whole year.

It a good swimmer which helps them to Catch food. They also have White fur to hide from predators in the snow and ice.

Physical Appearance

They are white with black eyes and a black nose . The Why do you sir helps them blend in to make sure they don’t get hunted.

What is your favourite animal?

This term we have been working on a production. We have had a lot fun and a lot challenges. We have all so had a lot of help my by your year 5 teachers and specialists teachers.we had 19 scenes that we have really liked Woking on.

Scenes one we had the tea lady’s would you like a cup of tea love. That’s a nice spot. They seat the hole play . We know that it was going to be a funny play. They also had Bruce and Eddie how were the main characters. They walked in with Music that went for ages.

Scenes two we had the Brides they came out and Eddie kept on saying they’ll beautiful. Bruce had to say we know  Eddies she’s beautiful. It was really funny . One of the bride was late it was Western Australia. Western Australia was late because Western Australia  had the most land and they didn’t want to share it. We also saw the Queen on here squeaky bike.

We also have conviction and soldiers we had a song it was about the first flight. My favourite bit in the song was free I after needle the Point of Australia where the ship they lay.

I was also in scene 17 which was a Cricket match I was a Federation  there was also auntie Billites. There was also Bruce and Eddie commentating I got to say a line it was well have a Governor General representing the Queen.

I would like to thank lots of people how helped us that with out them the production would not of been the same with a out them. Our year 5 teachers mr benwell, misty, mis straford, mis quodling for helping us back Stage or on stage, with costumes. 

 My favourable book chat book has been crossover. I liked crossover because it was a book with poems. It had two boys who were good basketball. The boys were brothers and they’re there was a professional basketball player.

One of the boys lacked Michael Jordan. He has lots of Michael Jordan collectables he had a toothbrush even. He got a lot of his Michael Jordan collectables off online shopping.

The book was really interesting. I personally what reading poems that had a story. Not just poems that going to have a story. I would recommend the book for people who like playing basketball. I also recommend this book the people who are in the year 4 to 6. I loved the book. It’s a great read.

My family celebrate Christmas. We give and we get present. My grandparents staying at  house. In the morning we come downstairs and start opening presents. Then we go to well have a grandparents house and open more presents. Then we go back to our house and we have a lunch with both sides of the family.

Easter We wake up and start heading downstairs but I’m not allowed to touch the Easter eggs. Then we go out and do 15 minutes is so  fun running around and trying to find chocolate eggs. We all come back in and share the eggs equally I’m a bit sad at this point because I usually have the most. But it’s alright to share with my brother my sister.

On the rocky rough road we go with Ean our bus driver and Charlie and Emily our year 11 students. We got to watch 3 movies. It was long but were all fine. When we got there the girls had to put there bags at they tents and the boys had to put the here bags at Lyall hall. We where shone around Toonallook. 

We got right in to activities on the first day we went bike riding and when we were riding we stopped and had a slow race so we had a start line and a end line. You want to be the last person over the line with out of touching the ground with your feet. Then we went kayaking and I was with one of my friends and we were splashing over people in kayaks. We had to go around a light. It was so much fun doing the activities.

We mad a music video and I was doing the T-pose in every video and we got a photo on the beach of all of us doing the T-pose. It was a fun video to make and to watch.

Expo was a challenge because it was raining all night but when it wasn’t raining we were playing games around the fire. We played a game that you had to have the most people next to you. It was fun after the rain.

The life in the 1850s was hard if you were a miner, you had to pay money to get a miners license. The miners did not like to pay for a miners license they fought it was to expensive.

The Eureka Stockade.

Was when miners all burnt the morning licenses and fought for want they thought was right.  They made a Stockade and fought against the police and troopers and it only lasted 15 minutes before it ended.

Important dates were,

1788 was the first fleet 

1851 was Australian gold rush

1854 was the Eureka Stockade

1835 was the California gold rush

My chosen building was the Tailor. Here is some information on the Tailor.

 The Tailor sells clothing material and fixes worn out or ripped clothes. Mostly women bought material but wealthy men would get their suits tailored to fit them. They were vital to the diggers if they needed their work clothes fixed and to women to have clothes for their children.
